Hello! I want to unpair my whoop today. I bought a new phone, the 17 iPhone pro max, and I can’t pair it. The blue color doesn’t light up in the second step. I’ve tried all the manipulations and tips. I can’t unpair my whoop on my own. This feature is not available. I can only create a pair. . Please help me! Thank you so much.
I have the same issue! Please let me know if you fix that
Quite a few have reported this.. Some help here.
Hi! I did it.
Make sure the strap is no longer connected to your old phone
• If you still have the old phone:
– Open the WHOOP app, tap the battery percentage (or strap icon) → Advanced → Unpair Device.
– Go to the phone’s Bluetooth settings, find your WHOOP in the list, and “Forget” or “Remove” it.
• If you no longer have the old phone, no worries — just continue with the next steps.
Forget any saved WHOOP connections on your new phone
Settings → Bluetooth → If a WHOOP appears, tap the “i” and Forget This Device.
Fully close and reopen the WHOOP app
Swipe up from the bottom, pause in the middle of the screen, then swipe the WHOOP preview up to close it. Reopen the app and stay signed in.
Put the strap into pairing mode (blue LED)
• Make sure the strap is off your wrist and the green underside LEDs are off.
• Slide a charged battery pack or the wired USB-C charger onto the strap for at least 15 seconds to wake it.
• If you still don’t see blue lights, lift the strap off the charger, hold it by the sides, and firmly tap the top of the sensor with two fingers several times in a row. Keep tapping until you see only blue lights flashing. (If blue + white flash together, keep tapping until it switches to blue only.)
Pair inside the WHOOP app (not through iOS settings)
WHOOP app → Device Settings (gear icon on Home screen) → Advanced → Pair a Device → Select your strap ID (e.g., 5AG0372683) when it appears and follow the prompts.
Accept the Bluetooth pairing pop-up when it appears.
Additional tips
• Ensure Bluetooth is ON and the WHOOP app is allowed to use Bluetooth.
• If the strap’s lights stay completely off even after charging 15 minutes, leave the charger on for 30–60 minutes and try again.
• Restarting the phone once before step 5 can help clear any lingering Bluetooth cache.
Please give these steps a try and let me know how it goes. If the strap still will not enter pairing mode (no blue LED at all) or the app cannot find the strap after following everything above, just reply here with what you’re seeing and we’ll continue troubleshooting together.
The blue light is not coming on Same issue. Unpaired from my old phone and trying to pair with my new iPhone 17 pro max. The blue light just doesn’t come on despite tapping it a 100 times. The green led comes on for a brief period of 2 seconds and disappears when we take off the charger. After that none of the lights reappear.
Have restarted, unpaired, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Finished doing Forget device. Restarted the phone 10 times. Logged out of the app and logged in
