Lack of Options for Strength Trainer Programming

Dear Whoop team,
I would like share my experience regarding trying to program my workout to calculate muscular load in Strength Training. The programmed options are not extensive with questionable options like Turkish Sit-ups but no options for more conventional moves, such as rear kick or lateral kick.

I am aware that we can customize a workout but the functions was very limited. For example, muscle groups selections are very broad, and thus, making it difficult to know which one to choose to hit the accurate calculation. If I am want to program **Renegade Rows, would I choose back or core? What if I wanna choose obliques? I believe that your current options and functions for the strength trainer are designed based on male’s workout routine. **

I am hoping to see more diverse options or at least allows for a full to incorporate workout data sync from my Gymverse app into Whoop for a more accurate muscular load calculation.

Hi @mrawee - thanks for reaching out here! We’ve received a lot of feedback on expansion of Strength Trainer, and I’ll pass this feedback along as well!

I also hate the experience with the strength trainer. It’s buggy as hell and really not comfortable to use in general.

And on top of that we’re still forced to use it to get accurate strain calculations since the HR detection issue is still not fixed. And there is not even an option to import data from external training apps (like MacroFactor Workout by Jeff Nippard).

Really makes me consider not extending my membership after 2 years that is coming to an end next month. We’ve seen not a single update to the strength trainer since then.
