I sometimes need to pause an ongoing activity, but I don’t want to end it and start over. Is this possible in the app?

Once you start an activity in the WHOOP app, there’s no way to pause it mid-session. But you can always go back and manually edit the activity afterwards to reflect the pause.

This seems like a fairly basic feature that other fitness trackers have. Would the WHOOP team consider building it, or is there a reason it is not being pursued?

It’s January 2026, and this feature still doesn’t exist. I wouldn’t even really call this a “feature,” it’s core functionality of any fitness tracker. All of the others out there with whom Whoop competes have had it since inception. Boggles the mind why this functionality doesn’t exist, and it’s needed so often (e.g. having to take a phone call during a workout, etc.)
