How can I retrospectively add add a specific Strength Trainer activity with a specific workout that I’ve added to “my workouts” to be added for a specific time for yesterday?
If I add this activity as today’s activity, it doesn’t allow me to edit the date/time to yesterdays. I am able to add another activity like yoga retrospectively without any issue. This issue of not being able to edit the date/time seems to be the case only for Strength Trainer activity. Any help on how I can do this will be greatly appreciated.
Hi @namratab05 , thanks for reaching out! For now, this behavior is expected for Strength Trainer. Unlike activities such as yoga or stretching, Strength Trainer sessions can’t be added or edited retroactively. This is because Strength Trainer relies on real-time sensor data and movement tracking to calculate things like muscular load, volume, and strain, so the session is locked to the day and time it’s started and can’t be moved to a previous date.
For workouts you’ve already completed, the best workaround is to log them as a standard strength-style activity (like Weightlifting) for the correct day and time. This will still count toward your overall Strain and activity history.
Going forward, starting Strength Trainer before your workout begins will ensure everything is captured as expected, or selecting “Weightlifting” after
