I really enjoy using WHOOP since several weeks. But there’s one thing I’ve been really missing:
- Processing HR data from Apple Health (e.g. from Garmin, Polar, COROS, chest straps)
- Or at least: the option to manually enter or adjust time spent in HR zones
Why this matters:
- In sports like swimming or running, the WHOOP sensor isn’t always 100% accurate.
- Many athletes already use watches or chest straps that provide very reliable HR data.
- Right now, Apple Health imports only include start and stop times – strain is left incomplete.
- Even for WHOOP-recorded activities, being able to correct HR-zone times would be super helpful to fix false peaks or gaps that distort strain.
My wish: either process HR data from Apple Health, or at least allow manual correction. That would make WHOOP even more valuable for both training and recovery.
