When creating custom workouts in Whoop, it would be useful to add defined rest periods between exercises. Currently, we can build exercise sequences but can’t specify rest intervals (30s, 60s, 2min, etc.).
This feature would:
- Make interval training programs more accurate
- Help track actual workout structure vs. just total time
- Provide better strain analysis by distinguishing work vs. rest periods
- Improve workout recommendations based on rest-to-work ratios
This would be especially valuable for strength training, HIIT, and circuit workouts where rest periods are crucial for proper training stimulus.
