Burn mark where the LED for sensors are!

I’ve noticed a mark on my skin that looks similar to a burn, right where the LEDs from my Whoop sit. It doesn’t itch, but it stings when touched—almost like a burn.

When I use a sports watch band, the metal buckle causes an allergic reaction on my skin, and sometimes the skin peels afterwards。

Hey @Stevenn,

We have escalated this case with out Membership Services team. Please look out for an email from one of our specialized team members.

@Stevenn what was the resolution with your burn mark? i’m experiencing something very similar! burns only where the sensors are, not around the rest of the strap, so hoping this is something that can be resolved. Any advice @liv0 ?

Not really, I just swap arms for now

It isn’t really a burn, but more of an allergic reaction. I had it from my Apple Watch when I wore it, and a FitBit before that. Switching arms is really the only solution other than try to keep it dry. I find if I don’t take it off and wipe it after a sweaty workout, it tends to be more pronounced.

I’ve been wearing for a couple years and just started getting really sensitive exactly where the leds are yesterday. It feels like a mild burning, nonstop—extremely distracting and annoying :squinting_face_with_tongue:. It doesn’t look like much in the pic, but it’s a thin strip where the leds sit. Band isn’t too tight, no other skin issues under rest of device. Maybe related, maybe not: For some reason it didn’t read body temp last night, but caught my other metrics. I don’t think that’s ever happened before. :face_with_monocle:

I’ve switched wrists for now.
