Similar to previous reports, I have noticed a burn-like mark underneath where the LED sensors were. I have since moved the Whoop sensor to the other side of my wrist (inside) and still observe this mark 5 days later. The skin looks really damaged. Is this expected?
@noooor @liv0 Just wanted to check on this! Tagging you here as you seem to be the kind people who respond and I posted this over Thanksgiving!
Hi @AdamWinnifrith,
A member of our Membership Services team will reach out to you directly on this. Thank you for your patience!
Hi @liv0 could I please ask you to request your membership services team contact me also?
I am a new whoop 5.0 user, having been using for only 12 days and started noticing burns also (after only a few days, I am now using on different wrist but this is starting to get burnt also). I started reading online about potential dermatitis being a reason but really it looks like a burn and having read a number of posts on the forum I see I’m not alone.
Would really appreciate some advice from either Whoop or other community members about how to remedy this, as I’m liking the Whoop but unsure how I’m going to use it if burning continues.
Has anyone managed to get it to stop? I had read that the sensors don’t work as well on scarred skin and don’t really want to wear it on other areas.
Thanks Liv! Just wanted to share with the community that the the Membership Services team were very helpful.
Ah no sorry to hear this! I think very frequent washing of the device and the skin underneath the device is helpful for preventing this.
I’m a new user and 41 days into using. Have the same “burn” mark and in the last week it’s started to feel so much worse. I have switched arms today but would love to know if there is any solution to this. Love everything about whoop so far, it’s made a real difference, except this …
