Why no skin temperature trend graph

Why is there a trend view for every metric except skin temperature? Why is there no skin temp history view?

Hi @darknat , thanks for reaching out! Right now, skin temperature is handled a bit differently in WHOOP compared to other metrics. Instead of being shown as an absolute value over time, it’s measured as a nightly deviation from your personal baseline. That context is what makes it useful since small changes from your normal range can signal things like illness, travel, or changes in recovery.

Because skin temperature is relative and meant to be interpreted night-by-night alongside Sleep and Recovery, it doesn’t currently have a standalone long-term Trends view like metrics such as HRV or Resting Heart Rate.

please consider this a request for a long term trend view for skin temp. The lack of such a graph is a motivator for switching to the oura ring

I will forward your feedback to the team!

I would also like to see this in a graph. Even if it’s irrelevant to recovery, I would like to be able to recognize trends with certain activities, illness, travel, or changes in my cycles, especially going into menopause.

Arguably - most of the data collected by Whoop can be considered “relative” to the individual, yet the majority of them are still plotted on a graph to some extent.

I completely agree with the desire to be able to access and view my bodily temperature as a personal tool, such as - tracking how it corresponds to other features in the app (menstruation cycle), the possibility of an oncoming bout of illness, awareness of life-threatening conditions (hypothermia, heat exhaustion/stroke, etc.).

Being able to see and track our body temperature can be an imperative tool for many of us who work the typical “blue-collar” jobs - that are physically demanding and usually in unforgiving environments.

Being a Firefighter - I know I sure would greatly appreciate seeing the feature being added.
