Whopp did not sync my data

My whoop did not sync my data although i charged it and the strap is well around my wrist , everything is updated , i waited about 2 to 3 hours and nothing happened.

Just let me know what can i do and please i need a practical solution for this as it bothered me a lot and can not do my training well

I’m sorry for the frustration. If your WHOOP strap is charged and fits properly but your data still isn’t syncing, try these steps:

  • Keep the WHOOP app running in the background so it can sync.

  • Check that Bluetooth is on and your WHOOP is connected.

  • Make sure Airplane Mode is off and your phone has a steady Wi-Fi or cellular connection.

  • Turn off any power-saving or battery optimization settings that could block background syncing.

  • Force close and reopen the WHOOP app.

  • Restart your WHOOP sensor in the app by going to Device Settings > Advanced > Reboot Device.

  • Look for firmware updates in the app and install them if available.

  • Stay within Bluetooth range of your phone while syncing.

  • On iOS, enable Background App Refresh for the WHOOP app.

  • On Android, allow background activity for the WHOOP app and turn off battery optimizations.

Your WHOOP can hold up to 14 days of data on the device itself. Once the right conditions are in place, everything will sync back up.

I did everything mentioned above… still not syncing…

  • Deleted - Installed app
  • Logoff - Login
  • Unpair - Pair
  • Device charged and on hand

No idea what to do next… please help

Believe it or not - just synced

Hi Team,

I’m facing an issue with my Whoop 4.0 device. It’s not syncing data from the band to the mobile app.

I purchased a 2-year membership on September 1st, 2025, and the device worked fine for a few days. However, it has now stopped syncing , the app only shows live heart rate data, and no other metrics (sleep, recovery, strain, etc.) are updating.

The app has been showing “data syncing” for nearly a month, but no new data appears.

I’ve already tried the following steps:

  • Disabled Low Power Mode on iPhone

  • Enabled Bluetooth and Background App Refresh

  • Restarted both the device and the app

Unfortunately, none of these have resolved the issue. Could you please help me identify whether this is a device issue or a syncing problem with the app?
