Whoop won't adjust to my lab tested vo2max- help?

I did a lab tested vo2max and I got a score of 5 points higher than Whoop estimated. That’s not a problem, since Whoop let’s me input my lab test and override its estimate, BUT every week when Whoop estimates my vo2max on Tuesdayy it drops it again (and so I basically have to re-input the lab results because I know my vo2max is not collapsing every week, in fact I am getting fitter and inputting all my activities on Whoop). Any ideas/help on whether Whoop can learn to estimate based on my test?

*Ps. in May I also did a vo2max test, and in May Whoop did adjust to my test. It had estimated 52, and I got 57, and it kept it at an estimate of 57 for several weeks. So Idk if the algorithm changed (to become less accurate) between now and then.

Thanks!

Whoops V02 Max isn’t good for cyclists. I just manually create an entry based off what Garmin says.. Update it periodically also..

Thanks AlanGooner- this is helpful! I did not know this was a thing-it looks like the Whoop vo2max metric is biased towards runners who track runs with gps.

Whoop is now a Fit-bit competitor and even then they are losing out
