My Whoop 5.0 (got it yesterday) does not respond well on my touch to turn off the alarm or the double tap to se battery light indicator. Have anyone else had this problem or know the solution?
Hi @eliasbjensen,
The WHOOP 5.0 uses a different vibration system for the haptic alarm than earlier models, so it might feel a bit different. Some members have noticed it can take more than a double tap to turn off the alarm. WHOOP is working on improving the sensitivity, but in the meantime, try tapping a little more firmly or adjusting your tap placement.
If your alarm or battery indicator light isn’t responding well to touch, here are a few things to try:
- Make sure your WHOOP 5.0 has at least 10% battery. Low battery can impact how the alarm works.
- Double-check that your WHOOP is properly connected to your phone when setting the alarm.
- Reboot the sensor by opening the WHOOP app, going to Device Settings > Advanced tab, and tapping “Reboot Device.”
- After rebooting, try setting a quick test alarm to see if things improve.
