Whoop connection

I’m having a problem with my WHOOP 5.0 device. In the morning when I wake up, it often says that the WHOOP hasn’t been connected for 10 hours. I have to restart it about twenty times before it works. This has been happening for a few weeks now. Do you have any ideas or tips to fix the problem

A few things we can try that often resolve this on WHOOP 5.0:

First, let’s make sure the device is rebooted properly through the app.
To reboot your device, please navigate to Device Settings by selecting the device icon in your app. Then go to Advanced > Reboot Device.

Next, please check that both your WHOOP app and device firmware are fully up to date. Firmware issues can sometimes cause overnight connection drops.

If the issue continues, I recommend refreshing the Bluetooth connection:

  • Turn Bluetooth off and back on

  • If that doesn’t help, forget WHOOP in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, restart your phone, then reopen the WHOOP app and re-pair the device

It’s also important to make sure the WHOOP app is allowed to run in the background and isn’t being restricted by battery optimization settings, as this can cause the connection to drop while you’re sleeping.
