Does my whoop 5.0 have to calibrate to my body the way 4.0 did?
Also - do any 5.0 users recommend making the switch or is it still filled with bugs?
Thank you,

Hey there @mfgumbko6 - if you’re already an active 4.0 user, you won’t go through a fresh calibration when you transition to 5.0 as far as the basics go, like Sleep & Recovery.
Various features however, do have their own onboarding/calibration requirements when you get access for the first time. For example - Healthspan unlocks once you’ve logged 21 recoveries in your first 31 days with WHOOP. This gives WHOOP enough data to start analyzing your long-term health patterns. Full calibration happens after 90 days, as the system learns more about your baseline.
Since I mentioned Healthspan though, it’s worth noting that we just recently launched Healthspan to all 4.0 members on the Peak membership!
