I’ve had my Whoop 5.0 since May and the battery life has always been great - usually needing to charge it every 12-14 days or so.
However for the past ~3 weeks, the battery seems to only last around 4 days. I fully charge it, then a few days later get a notification that it has 36 hours remaining, and then it seems to run out later that day.
I’ve read that things like broadcasting HR can drain battery life, but I’ve never turned this on and haven’t changed any settings over the months that I’ve had the product. I can’t figure out what’s changed on my side.
Hi @Bgils99, thanks for the note. The WHOOP 5.0 battery typically lasts up to 12–14 days, so a sudden drop to just 4 days between charges is definitely not normal—especially if you haven’t changed any settings or enabled features like HR broadcasting.
I took the liberty of filing a ticket for you so that a member of Membership Services knows to reach out to you to help you with your individual case. Thanks for reaching out.
I’m also experiencing the same with my Whoop 5.0. Tried all the suggested troubleshooting tactics on the support page. My sensor discharges 50% after charging 100% less than 24hrs. Waiting for a response from Whoop support to advise on next steps.
I have the same issue and Whoop support keeps telling me I need to troubleshoot the Whoop. I did and then they want me to again. It’s insane. I don’t have days to troubleshoot over and over.
My battery lasts less than 2 days on a Whoop 5 on default settings. I would return the Whoop but they say it’s outside the 30 day warranty.
This is the worst customer service. I also see a ton of complaints here about Whoop customer service. I’m really sad I didn’t look here before buying mine.
