How does the Whoop take with the salt water of the sea? Apart from cleaning it later with normal water, do you have any contraindications? Can it be used?

Both WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG are IP68 water-resistant—safe for swimming in the sea / saltwater, showering, and bathing (up to 10 meters for 2 hours). Just make sure to rinse it with fresh water after each saltwater session to prevent salt buildup and potential skin irritation. There are no major contraindications—just avoid diving or exposing it to high-pressure environments. For best care, clean the sensor 2-3 times a week. You can also experiment with bands as well that are better in water like the SportFlex band or the CoreKnit band. Hope this helps!
