Hey @sachin_ak, thanks for flagging this. I understand how important it is for your data to show up on the right days.
There are a few things that can occasionally cause activities or sleep data to appear “one day behind” in WHOOP:
- Sleep-Based Day Boundaries: WHOOP uses your main overnight sleep as the marker for when your “WHOOP Day” starts and ends, not the standard midnight-to-midnight calendar. Activities and steps will be grouped from the end of one main sleep to the start of the next. This can sometimes make workouts or sleep entries seem off by a day, especially if you have irregular sleep hours or log activities close to your bedtime/morning wake-up.
- Syncing/Time Zone Issues: If your phone recently changed time zones, your device’s clock was off, or there was a delay in syncing, sometimes data can shift when it appears in the app.
- Manual Logging: If you manually edit or add activities or sleeps after the fact, this may also push entries to the next “WHOOP Day.”
Try these quick fixes:
1. Fully close and relaunch your WHOOP app to re-sync.
2. Make sure your phone’s time, date, and time zone settings are set to update automatically.
3. Sync your WHOOP band by putting it near your device with Bluetooth enabled.
If your data still looks off after resetting the app, please reply with a screenshot or note any details about your device or recent travel/activity. I’m here to help troubleshoot, or I can get you in touch with Membership Services if needed.
Yes my sleep cycle is off , but there is an issue with data sync, upon refresh it says the data is synced to till now, but the data is hours behind.( it is 8:49 PM ) The activities only show up after midnight .
I have verified the timezones, did a re-pairing , reinstall
Hi @sachin_ak, thank you for this. I’m going to ask the team to dig in and see what the issue may be. You may hear from a member of the team if they need more details. Thank you.
