I’m currently in the trial period with a 5.0 which a friend has lent me. I would like to upgrade to an MG now and start a membership. I’m not sure how i do that and keep the information i have already acquired in the Whoop App. I’m travelling soon so would like to take the new one with me.

To upgrade from a trial to WHOOP MG, you need to convert your trial to a full membership by purchasing a 12-month membership extension. One-time upgrade fees are not available during trial periods. Once you upgrade, you will receive the new WHOOP MG device.
Regarding your data, your WHOOP data will be saved and carried over when you upgrade your membership and device. You can continue using your current device until your new device arrives, and no hardware returns are needed.
To upgrade, open the WHOOP app, go to My Account > Membership and Billing, and choose your preferred upgrade method by purchasing the 12-month extension.
