I’m using the WHOOP Peak “trial.” I paid $8 for shipping, and now I’m being asked to pay another $8 to return the device. That makes no sense.
At this point, the WHOOP trial doesn’t feel like a real trial at all. It feels more like a way to charge users upfront and collect their health data, while making it inconvenient and costly to return the product.
I could have bought a similar product on Amazon for $240, used it until January 31 thanks to their extended holiday return window, and still received a full refund. Compared to that, this experience feels misleading and unnecessarily restrictive.
This kind of nickel-and-diming.
