So my problem is unique I am hoping i can get help or advice if someone faced the same issue.
So july 2024 I bought Whoop 4 from the official distributor of WHOOP in Qatar SPORTS CORNER.
They gave me a subscription for a year automatically once activating the device.
July 2025, is when the app started demanding my credit card details to renew the subscription or they would suspend the account, I wanted to continue with Whoop so i went again to their official distributor in Qatar and bought WHOOP 5 PEAK. (Once you buy whoop from an in-person retail store they grant you a 12 months subscription with it)
I opened and activated it and it showed on the app that my next renewal would be on July 2026. Everything was good until i started still getting emails and in-app prompts that I should update my billing details or my account would be suspended even though i have the whoop 5!!! And it is activated on the account.
The real problem started when I talked to support and told them to fix this issue and they said, just put your card details and you won’t be charged immediately, it is just for the future after July 2026. So I did that, and I got charged 264€!!!
Now, it means I got charged through the app, and also through the retail store which is their official distributor.
I am contacting support at the moment to grant me a refund, they requested proof of purchase in real life, did anyone face such an issue ? Did Whoop support you and gave you the refund after realizing their mistake?
