Unable to Cancel WHOOP Membership – No Option Available

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my frustrating experience with WHOOP in case others are facing the same issue.

I’ve completed the onboarding process, but there is still no option anywhere on the website or in the app to cancel my membership. According to WHOOP’s own instructions, there should be a cancellation button after onboarding – but it simply doesn’t exist in my account.

I’ve contacted WHOOP support multiple times, but all I’ve received are generic replies directing me to the same broken process. I’ve now sent a formal cancellation request by email and made it clear that I want no further charges. Still waiting for a proper resolution.

Honestly, this whole experience feels deliberately opaque and customer-unfriendly. It’s unacceptable in 2025 to make it this difficult to cancel a subscription. If WHOOP continues to charge me, I’ll be forced to report it to my payment provider and file a complaint with consumer protection authorities.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any success in actually getting the membership cancelled?

Hi @Serkan55,

You can cancel your WHOOP membership by going to the Membership section at app.whoop.com and clicking “Cancel Your Membership” at the bottom of the page. Then, select the option that applies to your membership type and status.

Please note:

  • If you are within a 12- or 24-month commitment period, you cannot cancel immediately but can schedule your membership to cancel at the end of your term.
  • If you are paying monthly and outside of a commitment, you can cancel before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
  • If your membership is paused, you must unpause it before canceling.
  • After cancellation, you will have access until the end of your billing period, but no new data will be collected or analyzed.

I’m currently in the 30-day trial period, but I’m unable to find any option to cancel my membership.

At the bottom of the Membership section, it only says “Switch to WHOOP One and save €65” — there is no option to cancel the membership at all.

Can you please send a screenshot? You can also troubleshoot using these steps…

  1. Make sure your membership is active and not currently paused. If paused, you need to unpause it first to access cancellation options.
  2. Confirm you are logged into the correct WHOOP account associated with your trial.
  3. Sometimes the cancellation option appears at the bottom of the Membership page, so please scroll down fully.

I connected with support and they were able to cancel your trial. Thank you for your patience.

Iconfirm that my WHOOP membership has finally been cancelled thank you for your help. However, I have not yet received the return label for the device.

Sorry to hijack this post but I have exactly the same issue with no option to cancel the membership. The only option is to downgrade. Iv submitted requests for cancellation and just get AI generated responses. This is very poor from whoop. Cancellation should be simple. Any help would be amazing, thankyou.

I am waiting since 13 days and i still didnt recieve my return label :frowning:
