It sounds like you are having trouble pairing your device. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try. If these don’t fix the problem, please reach out to support@whoop.com.

Make sure your WHOOP sensor is charged and off your wrist.

Hold the sensor by its sides and tap the top of the sensor firmly and continuously to activate pairing mode. You should see flashing blue LEDs indicating pairing mode.

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that your phone meets WHOOP’s minimum OS requirements (iOS 16+ or Android 10+).

Forget any previously connected WHOOP devices in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.

Restart your phone.

Open the WHOOP app and use the “Pair a Device” option in Device Settings > Advanced tab to complete pairing.

Do not try to pair through your phone’s Bluetooth settings directly; always pair through the WHOOP app.

If you see flashing blue and white lights, keep tapping until only blue lights appear.

Check that the WHOOP app is updated to the latest version.

If you have WHOOP MG or WHOOP 5.0, ensure battery optimization is off and background activity is allowed in app settings (especially on Android).
