Terrible Quality Watch and Customer Service

As a high school student athlete committed to play baseball in college, I wanted to take the next step in taking care of my health. So when I purchased the Whoop 5.0 —the product looked great all around and it even said that the actual watch itself is free —so I assumed that even if the watch breaks apart I would be fully reimbursed, however I could not be more wrong. Within the first month of owning my whoop watch, it repeatedly fell off easily during baseball and athletic activities despite my careful and articulate care in tightening, placing, putting it on the right way. Even despite this, I continued to manage wearing it but finally after some time it broke apart very badly and the clasp fell off amidst my activity. So now, I can’t find the small little clasp but I still have the band and sensor and everything else. So then I went to customer support about the broken product and I was told to pay some absolute bs for like 50$ which I ended up paying for heavens sake because I still had 10 months left. I also thought it said Whoop would fully reimbursed its broken products but I guess not. But anyways now with like 8 months to go, being in high school, already paying a ridiculous price for a little clasp, I want a refund or at least a free replacement. But then of course when emailing customer support, I get met with an AI response that just doesn’t help at all. So yea this is just a rant by a high school student frustrated with this product which is clearly mislabeled for being “athletic wear”.
