On the trainer today because the weather wasn’t nice. Software stopped after some minutes and I needed to restart the ride again. I have two cycling events, one with strain of 3.0, the second much longer 4.6, yet my total strain is not 7.6 but 4.6. Is that correct?

Strain is not additive - it’s logarithmic which means you have to work out harder to accumulate daily strain points. That’s why it doesn’t equal 3.0 + 4.6 = 7.6.
Also, you can delete the first cycling activity and then click into the second one (the one currently with 4.6 strain). There will be 3 dots in the top right of the screen. You can click that → edit and then adjust the start time of the activity to be 11:32am rather than 11:44am. This way you’ll get credit for one activity and the strain will automatically update

I deleted the 3.0 and changed the start time for the 4.6 but stayed at 4.6. It’s not a big deal but I will have to remember when I do a century but stop 1/2 way for a coffee not to stop the ride and restart after the coffee break
Thanks for the tip.

That’s likely because the 3.0 was only 10 min. Usually if the workout is longer it has more of an impact to the cumulative strain when you adjust the times.
Best of luck on the century - that’s no easy task. Interested to see your strain score after that!!

I usually do at least one a year. Last year I broke my hip in July so was out of action for a while and never managed one. Hoping for 2 or 3 this year and will be first time with Whoop. I will post the strain
