Steps vs Cycling: Cycling Should Offset Need for Steps

When are you guys going to adjust your “Steps” issues? What do I mean? I don’t take a lot of steps each day, but my significant cycling takes a lot more energy than any “steps”, yet not having a high step count affects my Whoop Age. That doesn’t make sense. I do weights and I ride 100 to 160+ miles per week. Steps are an indication that you’ve gotten off your butt and performed a cardio element. Why doesn’t that need for steps get offset by my huge cardio output while cycling? Forcing steps in addition to my sufficient cardio isn’t logical. It shouldn’t require Steps if the cardio element is more than made up for with my cycling. Please address this in your algorithms. Even your Whoop AI said the same thing when I addressed the issue.

It would seem never, plenty of posts about this. :frowning:

And what is more ironic is in previous iterations of Whoop they declared steps are not important. Now they are the most important. My age is 3 years old because of the lack of steps, yet I am closing in on 9.5k Miles for the year on my bike. Also spare a thought for athletes in a wheel chair
