My steps are not syncing from Whoop to Android Health Connect. I’ve confirmed that all of the permissions are enabled. I’ve reached out to Whoop Support and haven’t received any help. Is this affecting anyone else?

Yeah, same here. Tried everything literally to resolve this, but so far no success. Steps are not being transferred to Health Connect.

I reached back to Whoop for an update. After getting several AI generated emails, support made me reinstall the app again, and then I get an update that it’s still with development. They really don’t seem to care about customer experience.

Hey! If you recently reinstalled the WHOOP app, you will need to re-enable Health Connect integration. Maybe try that?
Yes. That is not helpful.
Same experience here. After countless emails with WHOOP’s AI support, I was eventually asked to reboot the device, which made no difference. Only later did another support agent finally confirm that ‘WHOOP does not currently write step data to Health Connect.’ It’s really disappointing that a top-notch software company can’t manage to provide a basic feature that even the simplest smartwatches handle effortlessly.

Still nothing. Such a bummer. If my steps synced to Health Connect, I could feed them into my work’s wellness app and get credits..which would help me pay for my Whoop membership. So disappointing.

Just curious, what phone are you guys using? I have a Pixel 8 Pro. Maybe there’s a pattern.
Thanks for starting this thread. I am using the stepup app to track steps. The stepup app allows me to connect to the whoop. But, my whoop won’t communicate steps to the stepup app. Instead, the stepup app has to track steps with google health connect, which uses the phone’s hardware to track.

This is precisely why I want to sync steps to Health Connect to - my work health insurance app gives me points for steps that I can convert to shopping vouchers.
I actually suggested this to one of Whoop’s product managers when I did a product feedback call a few months ago. I’ve not heard anything more about it though.
Given that Whoop already syncs other data to Health Connect, this should be a simple update.
