Round Whoop Better?

Anyone wonder if the Whoop would be more accurate if it was round like a watch. It appears to me that the rectangle shape doesn’t suit the natural shape of the my wrist like a watch does. Tech support told me they see lots of noise/interference when I am cycling. The Whoop does move around a lot more than my round Garmin watch and potentially letting light under the sensor even though it’s snug. I know if there was a round option I would have bought it

Personally wouldn’t want it to be round but I do get what you mean.

The other thing I notice is my Garmin has a raised sensor so it’s probably pushed into the skin better. The Whoop is flat so I can imagine any movement on the wrist could briefly expose the sensor to light. I am very lean so not a lot of meat around my wrist, when I slide up the Whoop up my arm to where I am a little bit thicker the sensor seems to work better. I can imagine the bicep would also work better but I just do t want to keep changing bands

4.0 also had a raised sensor and by definition the 5.0 sensor could also be called raised even though it’s only slanted. I imagine they do enough testing so that it’s ideal.

Interesting that the sensor on 4 was different. I am seeing lots of users saying with Whoop 5 they are getting strange HR results compared to Whoop 4.
