Return and membership

Hello, My husband is returning his device and already cancelled his membership. I would like to keep his device and start my own membership. The Whoop AI support said he couldn’t get his money back until the device is received. Instead of returning an opened device and ordering a new one, is there a way to keep it and just get a credit for his membership since I’m starting my own? Thanks!

Thanks for writing in. The initial answer from support is correct. Yes, your husband must return the WHOOP device to be eligible for a refund on his membership. The device needs to be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping costs). Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after the device is received and inspected. If the device is not returned, a restocking fee may apply, and the refund will not be processed.

If you want to keep the device and start your own membership, you can do so by creating a new account and pairing the device, but your husband will not receive a refund unless he returns the device.
