Respiratory Rate - No Measurement. RHR Spikes

Starting around August 10th or so, I would wake to find no respiratory rate measurement (12 out of 20 days) and \ or spikes in my RHR for the night (typically around 40 and would indicate 70+). WHOOP support chalked it up to band placement and that 5.0 is more sensitive and accurate so placement is paramount. I have worn WHOOP for over 260 days now and never experienced any issues due to placement. One inch behind my wrist may have a permanent mark from wearing constantly. They also suggested using an arm band which I did last night as I got one for exercise. Same issue - no respiratory rate and spiked RHR.

Anyone else having these types of issues? I feel that it is the device and not user based as WHOOP is making it out to be. Easy for them to take that path.

My respiratory rate seems to be unchanged compared to Whoop 4. But I also see hr spikes during the night since a few weeks. I’m on Whoop MG Life.
