Request for Refund - I didn't want to extend my membserhip

I’m reaching out here because I’ve hit a wall with WHOOP’s support team and hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I accidentally extended my membership for a 24-month extension when I finished a workout and tried to close out of the app today. Some how closing the app triggered the purchase without any intention on my part.

I contacted support to request a refund. I’m not trying to leave WHOOP, I just want this honest mistake corrected.

Unfortunately, support declined and the response felt automated rather than a genuine review of my situation. This has put my bank account in a difficult position.

Has anyone been through something similar? Were you able to get this escalated to an actual human or someone with authority to make exceptions? I have seen other threads posting the same issue and it looks like they were resolved positively so I am hoping this is the case for me too.

Any advice on who to contact or how to escalate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
