Hi team - trying to renew my membership in India and the app rejects all attempts at payment stating it is an “invalid transaction”. Tried a couple of cards and got the same response.

The “invalid transaction” message usually means your bank is blocking the payment under India’s current RBI restrictions for recurring international charges. WHOOP processes payments through a global provider, so most Indian banks require that your card is enabled for international and recurring payments before it will go through.
Here are a few steps that should help:

Confirm with your bank that your card supports international recurring payments and that WHOOP/Stripe transactions are allowed.

If not, try another card that’s enabled for cross-border payments (credit or debit).

You can also attempt the renewal by logging in at app.whoop.com instead of using the mobile app — this can sometimes help if the bank portal redirects differently.
