Rebounding as an activity type?

It would be amazing to have an activity type for rebounding! Whether it was strain or recovery or both- it would be amazing to not have to classify my rebounding sessions as ‘other’. Are there any plans to add this?

I was also interested in this activity, and I reached out to support, and here is their response.

Thanks so much for reaching out! Re-bounding isn’t yet a dedicated option in the WHOOP activity list. For now, you can still capture all of your effort and strain by logging the session manually:

  1. Open the WHOOP app and tap the “+” button on the Home screen.

  2. Choose “Add Activity.”

  3. Select a general label such as “Other,” “Functional Fitness,” or any category that feels closest to your workout.

  4. Enter the duration and any notes you’d like, then tap “Save.”

Even though the activity name isn’t listed, WHOOP records your heart-rate data the same way, so your Strain, Recovery, and other metrics remain accurate.

We’re always expanding the activity library, and feedback like yours helps us prioritize future additions. I’ve noted your request for re-bounding so our product team can consider it in upcoming updates. While I can’t provide a specific timeline, please know your input is valued and plays a role in shaping new features.
