If you’d like to cancel your WHOOP membership, here’s how:

Go to the Membership section at app.whoop.com.

Scroll down and click Cancel Your Membership.

Choose the option that applies to your membership type:

Annual upfront plan: You can set your membership to end when your 12-month term is over.

Monthly plan (within a 12-month commitment): You can either pay off the rest of your commitment now or schedule your cancellation for the end of your term.

Monthly plan (outside a commitment): You can cancel anytime before your next billing date to avoid future charges.

Paused membership: You’ll need to resume your membership first by clicking Resume Membership before you can cancel.

After you cancel, you’ll still have access to WHOOP until your membership officially ends. Once that happens, we’ll stop collecting and analyzing your biometric data.

You can cancel your WHOOP trial by going to app.whoop.com, opening the Membership section, and choosing Cancel. Just confirm the cancellation to finish.
If you’re canceling your WHOOP trial, you’ll need to send back both the device and the charger. You can start the return right in the WHOOP app, and they’ll give you a prepaid label or QR code for shipping.
Be sure to send everything back within 7–14 days of getting the label. If you cancel but don’t return the hardware, WHOOP charges a $110 restocking fee.

I am now really getting anoyed, I now agreed for a yearly membership and wanted to upgrade to a 5.0 and now they ask me to pay again. I really feel tricked now. I wanted the slimmer version of the Whoop and now payed and don’t get a 5.0. Can you please check what is going on, I really feel tricked now.

Did you sign up for a trial on your own or are you trialing via an up-cycled 4.0 from a friend?
If you upgrade from a trial with a 5.0 to an annual WHOOP Peak membership, you will continue using the WHOOP 5.0 device you received with your trial. You do not get new hardware automatically when upgrading from the trial to Peak.
If you are trialing with a WHOOP 4.0 and then sign up for a WHOOP Peak membership, you do not automatically receive a new strap. The trial with 4.0 includes the hardware you already have, and upgrading to Peak membership does not include new hardware or straps by default.
If you want to upgrade to a newer device like WHOOP MG or a different membership tier, that would involve a separate upgrade process.

To cancel your WHOOP trial and return the device, please follow these steps:

Open the WHOOP app.

Go to the More tab in the navigation bar.

Select My Account > Membership.

Follow the in-app cancellation flow to initiate your return.

Download the provided return label or QR code.

Ship your WHOOP sensor and battery pack within 14 days of receiving the return label.
