I sometimes watch Mountain bike world cup, a lot of the stars wears whoop, sometimes Whoop broadcast one of the athletes heartrate during the competitions. It looks do be farily accurate, altough the athletes wear Whoop on the wrist. I question my self, are the data for real?
Exactly and are they cherry picking what they show ![]()
Me again
Went for a run this morning. Used whoop bicep band and placed it really high on my arm, actually the sensor was placed on my shoulder. Now, it measured perfectly, in pair with OH1. I will try this placment next run.
You will find a location that works one day and not another. I have no need to move my Chest Strap or Amazfit band. Whoop needs to address this, constantly moving the device around is not acceptable. ![]()
Are you wearing a bicep band?
Again read my posts. Bicep band is slightly better but still problematic. But BP and ECG/EKG didnât like the Bicep. But regardless of this, the band is designed for the wrist so it should work or at the very least allow connection to an external chest strap or allow import or HR data from elsewhere. Whoop is the most disappointing device I have ever owned. You can see my troubles if you check out my posts.
Youâve got like 100 posts.
Yes. So donât you think I would have tried absolutely everything. I even was lucky enough to have a zoom meeting with Whoop Support. They acknowledged the issues back in July but have done nothing about it.
Is the ecg working now? I couldnât get it to work. I was thinking about going back up to the Life but donât want to waste $300 even if it is. Black Friday special now.
