Any updates on this fix?
Pedometers are an extremely important fitness feature for many users and it’s a shame that whoop isn’t rapidly fixing this issue.

Annoyed that this is still happening but honestly weirdly relieved that it’s not just me.
Does it for some reason think I’m taking steps when I am just moving around in my seat at work? I can’t make sense of this. I WFH and it’s a sedentary job, so I was trying to get an accurate idea of how much I need to increase movement to improve my steps (used to have a super active job) but the count is SO off.
I’m having a bit of a peculiar issue at work. On the days I’m there, the steps count correctly throughout the day. However, once I leave and head home or somewhere else, the steps seem to reverse.
It’s more than 8000 steps off from what my Apple Watch shows. For instance, today, I have 6535 steps on Whoop and 14516 on Apple Health at 9:24 PM (and it’s accurate because I have that average only on my workdays. There seems to be something with the GPS or something that messes up the counting at work…![]()
Same here waiting since a year now for improvement. The user should decide which data they want to pull in. Since this is working for apple health they realy should make this work…its faar to expansive to accept incorrect data
Have there been any updates on this? It greatly hinders my experience.
LOL Whoop is so cooked.
I have been asking for this EASY SIMPLE FEATURE for YEARS now. I am aghast that they either are vastly incompetent or don’t care about customers. Not sure which is worse. I could vibe code this simple fix in 30 minutes. Yet radio silence over YEARS.
With Fitbit air coming out at $99 ONE TIME purchase rather than whoops $300+ PER YEAR this is clearly a sinking ship. I cancelled my renewal and don’t see myself coming back. Partly due to cost differential, but honestly, it’s the radio silence on glaring feature gaps that bothers me the most. I am willing to pay decent money to care for my health, but the constant and complete radio silence has lost them at least one (and likely soon a LOT MORE paying users)
I’m not sure why we even bother? Wondering if Will Ahmed the CEO or Jamie Waydo CTO know about this issue and how big of a feature request and impediment it is.
Imagine if only the users that care enough to go a post about this, how many other are being impacted by this?
Exactly! Classic case of not listening to their user base
