No Fitbod integration is a deal breaker

Fitbod is fantastic for planning and tracking strength training. It dynamically plans workouts based on recovered muscle groups. For these to be tracked in WHOOP I need to manually create a new workout each time and manually add each set. This is too much friction, so in practice WHOOP is missing most of my training + strain, making the data incomplete and inaccurate.

I expect to cancel my subscription if Fitbod support isn’t added.

I understand that the WHOOP Strength Trainer is being improved, but I don’t expect it will feature parity with Fitbod, nor should that be the main focus of WHOOP. Integrating directly with Fitbod (and I guess other strength training apps) would be preferable.

Hi @alexlloyd94 - thanks so much for the feedback! It makes a lot of sense; I also primarily strength train  I’ll pass the feedback along to our product team!

Bump this. I am locked into a year plan for my family, but will cancel unless this is integrated. It’s just too much of a hassle that could be fixed with a simple api.

@noooor this is an issue that’s been reported for many months and we keep getting the same response (we’ll forward to the product team).

Business 101… build a competitive strength trainer app vs partner with a solid app for the data they generate. Cost vs Value… Build would take significant resources (planning, video, testing, etc)… Partner would require 2 people sat down and hashed out some agreement how integrating data between companies for strength training purposes could improve both products and allow both to recruit more users or charge more.

for something so basic and so important to revenge growth, it doesn’t seem whoop is taking it seriously enough. Give this to someone in marketing or responsible for revenues, user growth, etc. not a technical person who’s primary incentive is to code and integrate.

Hey yall - I totally understand logging strength training can require manual effort that doesn’t scale well for people training frequently. Also hear your broader point around partnerships versus building in-house tools, and why external integrations can sometimes create more value with less friction for folks.

While we can’t make any promises on integrations, feedback like this isn’t just forwarded once and forgotten, it is aggregated and reviewed. We are always refining, and feedback from members who are deeply engaged in their wellness and training is valuable.
