Dear WHOOP 5.0 Team,
- Upon new setup & update check, WHOOP App suggested to upgrade the firmware to the new device version.
- When I chose to do so, the WHOOP app did not show real time firmware upgrade progress / completion status.
- As an end-user, I was not sure, if the updates were taking place or not. Hence, upon clicking once again the firmware update option in “advanced tab” the app again offered to update the firmware instead of showing the background update progress status. Due to this information exchange disconnect between the APP & the end-user, & upon clicking the update option once again, the APP crashed.
- The above instance cycled for 5 times at regular time intervals and then all of a sudden, the home screen showed firmware upgrade in progress and eventually after a long time firmware updates completed.
Long story short, the firmware update end-user process is not straight forward, with no real time status notification & with potential backend software bugs.
Please could help me with an easy way for future firmware update instances.
