New Month in Review is a huge disappointment

I’m not exactly sure if this is the correct forum for providing feedback on the pivot from the Monthly Performance Assessment (MPA). As a long-term Whoop member, I considered the MPA to be a valuable tool for tracking trends and identifying areas for improvement. While I appreciate the new Month in Review, its casual content doesn’t come close to providing the same amount of information and insight as the legacy MPA did.

Is there a way for members to continue to receive the legacy MPA? If not, can the Whoop AI generate a similar report? If so, how?

For what it’s worth, I’m a big fan of everything Whoop’s been doing, the 5.0 MG, the leveling of subscriptions, and now Advanced Labs… but the MPA change feels like regression.

100% in agreement with you here. I used to take the MPA to my doctor for my annual physical. Taking in the email I received today would be much less valuable in comparison. The ability to review 12 months’ data (and, hopefully, improvements) was key. The app itself is now the only place to see your long-term results but that’s hard to share with someone else.

I’m new to Whoop, but this monthly report that I saw for the first time last month made me very happy, I immediately took it to my doctor. But how much I was upset that this month instead of a cool report I received just a letter with pictures… why did they remove the MPA? Support couldn’t answer..

I agree, for a wearable that prides itself on data, insights and trends the month in review provides none. They need to bring MPA back. with advanced labs now added MPA would be a valuable asset to members especially if they on working on bring bio marker down and can see how they trend with their health and fitness and see if they are in the right trend

I totally agree. and even worse I haven’t received the MPAs or the new MIRs. Unfortunately the support doesn’t know how to help themselves and me neither with that problem.

@whoopadmin, as I understand, it may be possible for users to recreate the legacy MPA report through the app? If this is true, will somebody from Whoop please post the step-by-step process? If this isn’t currently possible, what would it take to create this capability?

At the end of the day, I’m not asking Whoop to abandon the new MIR - I’m sure Whoop had its reasons for making the change. However, given the fantastic integration of ECG, BP, and now lab work, I’m confident that Whoop can see the value that an “even more” robust MPA provides users who use Whoop to monitor their health, ultimately informing discussions with their health & fitness providers.

I’ve maintained a 783-day streak with my WHOOP and haven’t missed a single day in years. Unfortunately, the new “Month in Review” email format is a major step backward compared to the previous Monthly Performance Assessment (MPA). I used the MPA reports regularly to share detailed insights with my doctor and to submit documentation for my company’s health and wellness reimbursement program. The new format lacks the depth and functionality that made the original reports so valuable.

Given that WHOOP’s pricing has increased over time—and with another increase planned for October 25—you’d expect the reporting and analytics to improve, not decline. I’m genuinely disappointed by this recent change. If the MPA isn’t brought back, I may consider switching back to my Apple Watch Ultra, which has been sitting in my bedside drawer. It doesn’t require a subscription fee and continues to deliver consistent product quality. (Considering it’s a 1 time hardware device cost with no recurring payment liability)

Agree with you as well, I want to have the legacy MPA back at least as option. I feel like MPA was the reason why Whoop standsout from the rest of other devices and programs.
