My whoop frequentie says he is off-body

My Whoop frequently says it’s off-body even though I’m wearing it.
I take it off to take a bath (leather strap and oil in the bath).
It hasn’t even registered for two nights.
What can I do about this?

It always will. 2 whoop replacements and mine still doesn’t work. And don’t expect a refund.

Sorry you are experiencing this issue. Here are some troubleshooting ideas.

If your WHOOP is showing “off-body” while you are wearing it, here are some steps to try:

  • Make sure WHOOP is positioned snugly on your wrist with good skin contact and no gaps.

  • If using WHOOP Body apparel, confirm the sensor is properly inserted and aligned with the skin-contact area.

  • If wearing on your bicep, ensure the strap is tight enough to prevent false off-body detection.

  • Avoid placing WHOOP over tattoos, scars, or too close to the wrist bone.

  • Check that your WHOOP firmware is up to date via Device Settings > Advanced > Firmware Check in the app.

  • Reboot your WHOOP device from Device Settings > Advanced > Reboot Device in the app.

  • Keep Bluetooth enabled and disable any battery optimization settings on your phone that might interfere with WHOOP connectivity.

  • Ensure WHOOP is charged and within Bluetooth range of your phone.

The sensor still struggles to recognize wear after being off body for while - need to reboot the sensor each time

Can you send a new sensor please? Tried everything below and not resolved
