My whoop will die in a day after being charged fully
Hey @calebafarr,
Here are some troubleshooting tips if your WHOOP battery pack doesn’t seem to be charging:
-
Plug the battery pack into a power source for 5-10 minutes. Try a different USB adapter or outlet if no LED lights up.
-
Double-tap the top of the battery pack while it is plugged in and attached to your WHOOP to start charging.
-
Check for green LEDs on the sensor where it rests against your skin. If no green LEDs show, the sensor may not be charging.
-
Unplug the battery pack and let it rest for 5 minutes, then try charging again. Double-tap 2-3 more times if it doesn’t start charging initially.
-
Verify charging status in the WHOOP app.
-
Inspect the USB-C port and cable for dust, debris, or damage. Clean the port gently if needed.
-
Use the WHOOP Battery Pack Updater on a computer to ensure your battery pack firmware is up to date.
-
Try using the WHOOP-provided USB-C cable and adapter for charging.
-
Avoid charging in extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
-
If the battery pack LED remains red and never turns green after long charging, or if no LED lights up after trying these steps, the battery pack may need further review.
If these tips don’t work, could you email support@whoop.com and provide a bit more details?
