My recovery scores are not improving since mid August when I had the crazy high HRV Spike. I was hoping after my meeting with Whoop they would address this promptly but alas not. I personally do not think it’s correct data but I agree with whoop the spike should stay in case it’s showing an underlying issue with my body but what it shouldn’t do is affect my recovery for over a month because of it. I accept my recovery should be poor around Sept 10th because of a medical incident but prior to that it should have been green if not for the spike in HRV.
Oh Lord😓. This really looks disappointing
If you look around September 9th I had a 1% recovery. I wish I had captured the message Whoop gave me, it was something like “Congratulations you are in the 1% recovery bracket and only 1% of users have had this score. Not too worry, rest and your recovery will bounce back” I was lying-in a hospital bed so score might have been correct but still seemed an odd message. ![]()
I agree. I once got a reading of 3 % recovery with the same message. It was justified though because I got a cold at that time
Want something to laugh? I only wore Whoop at night last night and put it off when I got up. I put it near my bed but saw that the green light of the sensor is still on. Well I thought after some time it will go off by itself after it detects that the device is off body.
So far so good. I just went into the bedroom and put my Whoop back on and saw the green light still on
. Now guess what…… I opened the app and booooom……… there’s stress monitor readings and heart rate readings throughout the day for the time I didn’t wear my Whoop
. Of course today I’m totally calm and relaxed. What a joke! That was the last evidence that my data went down with the sinking ship. Unreliability at its best. For this I’m paying a lot of money. I could also ask my pet rabbits to tell me heart rate, recovery etc ![]()

That is wild, it’s so frustrating..
