Missing position in Journal

Hello everyone,

I wonder do you have any tips (or is it possible to ask Whoop team) how to properly use Journal when not all of biohacking activities are listed in Journal. For example, I use daily:

  • Hydrogen inhalations
  • Mendi head band
  • Red light therapy specifically for hair (btw. There is only one position fon RLT which is problematic as I use different light lengths targeting different issues)
  • BEMER for PEMF
  • Nurosym (vagus nerve stimulation)
  • Bright light 10000lux (antidepressant lamp)
  • Eight Sleep bed

All of those strongly influenced my body so tracking it is highly important for me.

Hi @BassX , thanks for reaching out! Awesome to see how you’re utilizing WHOOP.

At the moment, WHOOP offers a preset list of behaviors in the Journal, and while you can’t add custom entries just yet, something I like to do is pick the closest available option and know that when I look at my data, it is actually the variable I am tracking. For example, before a specific medication was added, I would log “Anti-Inflammatory Medication” knowing I was tracking my personal medication.

Side note (personal hack if you will), if there is a variable I follow quite literally daily (perhaps you sleep in the same bed every night), I don’t track it in my journal so that I can cut down on the volume of variables in my journal and really focus on seeing the impact of items that are variable throughout the days/weeks/months. Not a necessity, just a personal thing I do!
