My wife recently lost her WHOOP 4.0 while swimming in the sea. She’s part of my Family Membership, and originally I had gifted her the 4.0 after I upgraded to WHOOP 5.0 myself.
Now that she’s lost her device, I’d like to get her a WHOOP 5.0 – but I can’t find an option to purchase just the device for her anywhere on shop.whoop.com. The only workaround I see is removing her from the Family Membership and hoping she’ll be able to upgrade to 5.0 on her own.
Could you please advise the best way forward in this situation? We’d appreciate any guidance you can provide.
You can reach out to Whoop support directly (not here) or you can purchase the Whoop 5.0 from another retailer. Best Buy, Amazon, Scheels, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and PGA Tour Store to name a few. When you buy the Whoop 5.0 from a retailer you are also getting the 12 month subscription. This will work on already activated accounts. The 12 month subscription will apply to your account once the device is paired to the account via the Whoop app.
i have had the same proble and i dont see you have been able to solve it. i dont tihink ot is worthy this gadget, the service seems to be terriible, there is no way to talk to them, or am i wrong and you have found a solution?
