I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Apple Health integration. Even though WHOOP appears as a data source in Apple Health and I have enabled all permissions (Heart Rate, Sleep, Active Energy, Steps, Workouts, etc.), no WHOOP data is actually being written into Apple Health.
I have already tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps, including:
Removing and reinstalling the WHOOP app.
Disconnecting and reconnecting Apple Health integration inside WHOOP.
Toggling all Health permissions off and on again.
Restarting my iPhone.
Waiting for synchronization after workouts and sleep.
Despite these attempts, Apple Health still only shows data from my iPhone (steps, movement), and no heart rate or sleep data from WHOOP.
Could you please investigate this issue or reset the integration on your side? I have attached screenshots showing:
WHOOP listed as a data source in Apple Health.
Permissions fully enabled.
No WHOOP data appearing in Health metrics (Heart Rate, Sleep, etc.).
Thanks for sharing the detailed steps you’ve already tried — that’s really helpful. We took a closer look at your account and it does look like WHOOP is correctly set up to export/import data with Apple Health. That said, there are a few key points worth clarifying:
Heart Rate in Apple Health: WHOOP will only write heart rate data into Apple Health if it’s part of a workout or sleep session. Continuous heart rate isn’t exported separately, which is why you’re not seeing standalone heart rate metrics. You can read more about this on our support page.
Integration Timing: It looks like the Apple Health integration on your account was just enabled yesterday. In some cases, data doesn’t appear right away and can take a bit of time to sync.
Checking Sleep Data: To confirm WHOOP data is being written correctly, please check Sleep specifically in Apple Health. You can do this by navigating to: Apple Health → Browse → Sleep → Data Sources & Access → WHOOP (under Data Sources).
There, you should see WHOOP listed, along with any sleep data that’s been synced since you enabled the integration.
Other Data Sources: If you have multiple apps connected to Apple Health, sometimes another data source may take priority. That usually isn’t the case here, but it’s good to confirm WHOOP is selected as a source under each metric.
If you still don’t see any WHOOP data after checking Sleep and waiting a bit longer for sync, let us know and we can dig in further.
