This is an ongoing problem over several generations of Whoop that the company continues to promote better accuracy with firmware updates, but ultimately fails to deliver every time.
Can’t it be an issue with how it’s displayed in the app during the workout?
looks like it is different after saving and you see the summary of the workout.
I also saw that sometimes the timer is not correctly displaying in the app
Would perhaps be why were complaining and whooping saying it’s accurate.
Well it’s not just a display issue.
Had this the other day. Didn’t change the position of whoop at all.
thinking about cancelling my membership
I work in a cardiology department and the heart rate detection is poor. I have tried different straps, wearing higher up the wrist, bicep strap, clening the device before a run, swim or cycle. Unfortunately I will not be renewing my subscription.
I’ve been using the 5.0 MG for about a week now and have no prior experience with Whoop. What I’ve noticed during cardio exercises like running or using the elliptical is that, for the first five minutes or so, the heart rate readings from the Whoop seem unreliable — there are a lot of fluctuations. Meanwhile, my Apple Watch and the machine’s built-in sensors show much more consistent readings. After about five minutes or so, however, the Whoop seems to stabilize, and the fluctuations seem to disappear, with the readings aligning closely with the other devices.
Do we have any updates on this? I’m having the same exact issue during strength training.
Yesterday during my resistance walk workout, my heart rate was all over the place from start to finish. The device was on my wrist, tight enough that any tighter would have been uncomfortable. When my heart rate increased, Whoop sometimes didn’t detect it at all and other times detected it with a delay. Even while I was at a resting pace, it fluctuated up and down by about 15–20%… Had high expectations from Whoop.. The concept of the way the data is presented is nice but just the basic function not working properly is disappointing for the moment..
After complaining I received a voucher for a bicep band.
