I'm on trial but would like to use refferal from a friend, do I need to cancel my current subscription?

Hey, as in title. I’ve started using WHOOP on trial but realised that my friend is using Whoop as well. I’d like to use his ref link. How to do this?

Hey @kepas06,

If you’ve already started your WHOOP trial, you cannot apply a friend’s referral link retroactively to that trial. Referral credits and benefits apply only after you become a paying member, not during the free trial period.

Once you transition from the trial to a paid membership, you can use referral credits earned from your friend’s referral link toward your membership fees. Referral credits cannot be used to extend free trials or cover upgrade fees.

If you want to use your friend’s referral link benefits, you would need to sign up for a paid membership through that link after your trial ends.

So, in this case → If I got around 10 days till the end of my trial, once I’ll pay for my subscription first, then I can use referral link?
