I think Whoop would benefit greatly from an illness tracking feature. When we’re sick (cold, flu, fever, etc.), our recovery metrics change dramatically - lower HRV, higher resting HR, poor sleep quality - but Whoop currently treats these as unexplained variations.
Adding an “illness” tag would help:

Provide context for unusual recovery scores

Adjust recommendations appropriately (suggesting rest vs. training)

Track recovery patterns during and after illness

Improve long-term data accuracy
This would make Whoop’s coaching much more personalized and realistic during times when our bodies are fighting infections.
