I upgraded and gave my mg to wife. Now I want one on family plan, option is for 2 only

I upgraded mine to mg whoop and gave it to my wife. When I go to family plan the only option is for 2 new mg’s. I only need one and to put us both on family plan

Thanks for reaching out. I can see why that screen would be confusing.

It looks like you’re being shown the option for “two new WHOOP MGs” because the system is reading it as a new Family Plan order. You won’t need to purchase new devices to bring both accounts under one plan.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Log into the WHOOP app with the email tied to your active MG (Life) membership.

  2. Tap Menu → My Account → Membership Plan → Create Family Plan.

  3. From there, select Add Family Member and invite your spouse using the email tied to their current WHOOP account.

  4. Once your spouse accepts the invite, you’ll both be linked on the Family Plan under your existing memberships.

If you’re still seeing the “new MG” prompt after that, please reach out to support@whoop.com. They can check that both memberships are on the same WHOOP Life tier so they connect smoothly.
