There is no reference whatsoever to ECG on my app.
I just started Whoop Life a week ago. Will the ECG feature show up after a given time, or should it already be available?
The Health tab yields one frozen half-filled
screen.

Hey @zJozsef,
The ECG feature on WHOOP Life should be available immediately after pairing your WHOOP MG device, as long as you are eligible and in a region where the feature is supported. It does not require waiting for a certain time to appear. You will need to enable the ECG feature and complete a brief onboarding process in the app when using it for the first time.
Please note that the ECG feature is medically regulated and only available in certain regions. It is intended for users 22 years and older and is not recommended for those with known arrhythmias other than atrial fibrillation or implanted electronic devices like pacemakers.
If your Health tab is frozen or half-filled, it might be helpful to ensure your app and device firmware are fully updated and that your phone meets the minimum software requirements (iOS 17+ or Android 11+). Also, check that battery optimization settings on your phone are not limiting the WHOOP app’s background activity.
If you let me know your region or country, I can confirm if the ECG feature is available there.
thank you for the prompt reply. I am in Canada. My profile in the app indicates that I am in Canada. The ECG feature should be available to me. My profile indicates that I am a Life member.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 with Android version 16. The telephone software is up to date.
The Android Whoop app version is 5.423.3 which is the most up-to-date version available to me.
The Whoop MG device firmware is also up to date.
Battery optimization is turned off. The WHOOP app is set to never sleep.
Pressing on the Health icon at the bottom of the app still yields the screen that I showed in my previous message.
