HR not correct when doing workouts

Hi all!

13+ year CF Affiliate owner here.

Got my 1st Whoop in January 2025. I’ve worn it every day since. I upgraded my family of 4 all to MG’s. Obviously I do LOTS of workouts & consider myself fairly fit for a 48 year old.

I’ve noticed over the last few workouts that my HR wasn’t getting as high as I’m used to & that it seems to be affecting my Whoop Age. Today, I had rowing, KB lunges, & ring rows on a 20 min AMRAP.

I was watching my HR halfway through & noticed it still hadn’t gotten over 145…. I definitely felt that was wrong, so I put my Apple Watch back on the other wrist. Whoop was 30-40 lower than my watch. I knew it was off. There was no way my HR was in the 130’s(what Whoop said)…. My Apple Watch showed 172, which felt WAY more accurate.

I’ve not changed its location the whole time. I actually look like I’ve got a permanent Whoop imprint where it’s always been.

Any thoughts or help?
